About me

An industrious and adaptable designer-developer-tinkerer, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for problem solving.

I have a solid background in design, and a technical head too. I’m open to projects ranging from UX/UI design to a full developmental build of a site from spec, when you’re in need of a front-end developer with a designer’s eye.

I’m a big advocate of prototyping and designing in the browser - I’m intrigued by the intersection of design and engineering and I’m always striving to bridge that gap between disciplines.

BBC Radioplayer

Product, Web

In November 2014 I designed the new pop-out Radioplayer for the BBC’s 17 national and 40 local stations, in collaboration with Simon Meredith and built by magneticNorth.

The redesigned player is adaptive to content (including improved ‘Now Playing’ features for music programmes, related links for speech), with quick links to users’ favourites as well other BBC stations and schedules.
